The story goes that the old man hid his formula in a small ceramic jar buried deep within the forest, ensuring that only those with pure intentions would find it. The jar was said to be adorned with intricate carvings and symbols representing each of the seven herbs.

One day, a young apprentice named Ling stumbled upon an ancient map leading him to where the jar was hidden. Excited by his discovery, he rushed back to share it with his master. However, as soon as they found and opened the jar, everything went dark for both of them.
