本山：外形条索尚肥壮、紧结，较沉重。叶梗红亮，细瘦整齐，“竹子节”明显。色泽乌润，如熟透的香蕉皮色，有青蒂绿腹红点特点。
内质：汤色橙黄或清味清纯略浓厚，但香气比铁观音更为清淡。
叶底：色泽黄绿，长圆形，有隆起和主脉稍浮白。
