绿 teas are the most popular type of tea in China, accounting for more than 40% of total tea production. The representative green tea is Longjing(Dragon Well), produced in Zhejiang Province. Another famous green tea is Gunpowder Tea from Anhui Province, which has a light flavor and tiny pellets that resemble gunpowder.

Red Teas are those that have been allowed to oxidize before being fired. Among them, the most well-known one is Keemun Tea from Anhui Province. It has a rich flavor with hints of fruitiness and chocolate notes. Yunnan Red Tea from Yunnan Province also deserves special mention due to its earthy taste and strong body.

White Teas are made from young buds that have been minimally processed or not at all, preserving their natural sweetness and subtle flavors. The representative white teas include Silver Needle (Bai Mu Dan) from Fujian Province with its delicate appearance like silver needles; White Peony (Bai Mudan) also produced in Fujian Province with a mellow taste; and Shou Mei (also known as Suhong or "Longevity Me") originated in Wuyi Mountains area.

Yellow Teas represent a transitional phase between green teas that have undergone minimal oxidation but still retain some of the characteristics of black teas which undergo full oxidation. The best-known yellow tea is Huang Shan Yellow Bud Tea from Anhui province with an enticing aroma reminiscent of honeyed apricot blossoms.
六、“深沉如夜”黑色精华—黑 茶
Black Teas are fully fermented which gives them their distinctive dark color and robust flavor profile. Pu-erh Tea hails primarily from Yunnan province while Golden Monkey Black Tea comes mainly from Fujian province both having unique profiles: the former boasts earthy tones while the latter presents floral notes accompanied by smoothness.
